Shahkot villager arrested for firing at house.  

SHAHKOT 8 SEPTEMBER 

 

The Shahkot police have arrested a miscreant for firing at a house.

 

Investigating Officer (IO) Angrej Singh said that the accused has been identified as Gurpal Singh alias Gopa son of Ajindar Kumar a resident of   Nawa Kila village.

 

Baljit Singh a resident of Billi Charahmi, had complained to the police that the accused had fired at his house on September 3.

 

IO said a case under sections 125 (act endangering life or personal safety of others), 61(2) (criminal conspiracy), 324(4) (mischief), and 3(5)(committing crime with common intention) of the BNS and sections 25/27/54/59 of the Arms Act was registered against the accused and others including an NRI
