Feroze Pur resident arrested for culpable homicide

The Lohian Khas police have arrested a Feroze Pur resident on charges of culpable homicide not amounting to murder.

 

Investigating Officer (IO) Sarabjit Singh said that the accused has been identified as Sukhwindar Singh son of Gurdev Singh, a resident of Khiyali village under Makhu police station, Feroze Pur

 

Jaswindar Singh, a resident of the same village had, complained to the police that his son Vikram Jit Singh (20) has gone to Kakarr Kalan village on July 9 to enjoy a festival.

 

The complainant had said his co-villager Malkit Singh told him on July 10 that the body of Vikramjit Singh was lying near Mianni village on the newly constructed National Highway.

 

He had said that the police then had initiated action under section 194 of the BNSS at our request, but now we have learnt that the accused Sukhwinder Singh has taken his son on his motorcycle and administered some poisonous substance to Vikramjit, which has caused his death

 

IO said a case under section 105 (culpable homicide not amounting to murder) of the BNS was registered against the accused.
