Woman among five drug peddlers arrested under NDPS Act

The Lohian Khas police have arrested a drug peddler on the charge of selling heroin
Station House Officer (SHO) Sukhjindar Singh said that 4.42 grams of heroin were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Baljit Singh alias Nikka son of Sukhraj Singh a resident of Kang Kalan village.
SHO said that a case under sections 21/ 61/ 85/ of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.
The Nakodar Sadar police have arrested a woman drug peddler Kamaljit Kaur wife of Ranjodh Singh of Bir Pind village with 2 kilograms of poppy husk said IO Paramjit Singh.
The police also arrested drug peddler Kulwindar Singh son of Tarsem Singh of Fateh Pur village with 26 intoxicant tablets said IO Buta Ram.
The police also arrested drug peddler Manjit Singh son of Jagjit Singh of Bir Pind village, with 27 intoxicant tablets, said IO Kulwindar Singh.
The Shahkot police arrested drug peddler Jagdeep son of Fakir Chand of Kotli Gajran village, with 20 intoxicant tablets, said IO Baljit Singh.
The Bilga police arrested drug peddler Ajay Kumar son of Surindar Pal of Bilga village, with 17 intoxicant tablets, said IO Govindar Singh.
