Two Kapurthala miscreants booked for snatching cash, phone

The Nakodar Sadar police have booked two Kapurthala miscreants on the charge of snatching cash and phone

Investigating Officer (IO) Buta Ram said that the accused have been identified as Joga Singh son of Lakhwant Singh a resident of Lattian Wal village in Kapurthala and his brother and Aatma Singh

Nirmal Singh a resident of Billi Chao village, complained to the police that the accused waylaid him near Pandher village and snatched Rs 5000 and phone at the point of a sharp-edged weapon

IO said a case under sections 309(4) (robbery), and 3(5) (committing a crime with common intention) of the BNS has been registered against the accused
