Miscreant arrested for stealing from Gurdwara

The Bilga police have arrested a miscreant on charge of stealing from a Gurdwara

Investigating officer (IO) Vijay Kumar said that the accused has been identified as Malkit Singh alias Laddu son of Charan Singh a resident of Pati Bagga, Bilga village.

Raghu Veer Singh a resident of the same locality has complained to the police that the accused barged into Gurdwara Shri Guru Ravidass ji on the night of February 18 and stole Rs 5100 garland from the idol of Shri Guru Ravidass Ji.

IO said that a case under sections 331(4) (house breaking by night to commit offence punishable with imprisonment) and 305(D) (theft in dwelling house) of the BNS was registered against the accused.
