Villager  arrested for selling illicit liquor 

NAKODAR 24 AUGUST

 The Nakodar Sadar police have arrested a villager on charges of selling illicit country-made smuggling liquor. Investigating Officer (IO) Sukhjindar Singh said 40 bottles of hooch were seized from the possession of the accused, identified as Sukhdeep Singh a resident of Nur Pur Chatha village

IO said a case under section 61/1/14 of the Punjab Excise Act was registered against the accused.
