Nurmahal resident arrested for harbouring offenders

NURMAHAL 23 AUGUST 

The Nurmahal police have arrested a resident on charges of harbouring offenders

Station House Officer (SHO) Gurmeet Ram said that the accused has been identified as Munish Kumar alias Kali son of Nand Kishor a resident near the bus stand in Nurmahal.

SHO said that the accused has close contacts with gangsters, provides shelter to snatchers and other criminals, has a group of five accomplices, indulges in committing crimes, and has many cases registered against him.

SHO said that a case under sections 249(B)(harbouring offenders) and 313(punishment for belonging to a gang of robbers) of the BNS was registered against the accused in February 2026.
