Woman among two booked for abetting suicide

NURMAHAL 2 NOVEMBER

 The Nurmahal police have booked two persons, including a woman, on charges of abetting suicide.

The investigating officer (IO) Sukhwindar Singh said that the accused have been identified as Paramjit Kaur, wife of Babli a resident of Dhani Pind village under Sadar Jalandhar police station, and her son-in-law Nishan Singh, son of Lakhwindar Singh a resident of Achhi Ekke village under Mallan Wala police station, Feroze Pur.

Rachhpal Kaur wife of Harnek Singh a resident of Shamsha Bad village has complained to the police that the accused Babli had live in relations with her  unmarried  son and  Babli’s  son in law Nishan Singh helped her mother in law in  harassing  the deceased  Gurjit Singh (35 ) who committed suicide on October 30  consummating poisonous substance and ended his life

IO said a case under section 108(abetting suicide) of the BNS was registered against the accused.
