Six villagers booked for house trespass, firing

The Mehat Pur police have booked six villagers for house trespass and firing.

Investigating Officer (IO) Indar Mohan Sharma said that the accused have been identified as Gurmail Singh, Jaswindar Singh, Dharam Pal, Gurmit Singh, Gori, and Harwindar Singh, all residents of Vehran village.

Sukhchian Singh, a resident of the same village, complained to the police that the accused barged into his house, fired at the gate, and issued threats

IO said a case under sections 333(house trespass after preparation for hurt and assault)351(2) (criminal intimidation), 191(3) , 190 (rioting and unlawful assembly) of the BNS and 25/54/59 of the Arms Act has been registered against the accused.
