Bathinda resident booked for causing death by negligence

The Shahkot police have booked a Bathinda resident for causing death by negligence.

Investigating Officer (IO) Bagicha Singh said that the accused has been identified as Rajpal Singh son of Giani Ram a resident of Sandoa village in Bathinda and presently living at Danna Mandi Nakodar.

Prem Kumar, a resident of Killi village complained to the police that the accused was driving his Jaggaru Gharruka negligently and hit his son Harwindar Singh and killed him.

IO said a case under section 106(causing death by negligence) 281 (rash driving) and 324(4) mischief) of the BNS has been registered against the accused.

The Nakodar police also booked an unidentified driver for negligently causing death of Harjot Kaur mother of Karamjit Kaur of Ludhiana said IO Sukhdev Singh. Accident had occurred on September 9 near Nakodar court complex.
