Drug peddler arrested under NDPS Act  

SHAHKOT 2 OCTOBER

 The Shahkot police have arrested a drug peddler on charges of selling intoxicant tablets.

Investigating Officer (IO)Varun Patiyal said that 32 (loose) intoxicant tablets were recovered from the possession of the accused, identified as Vijay Kumar son of Paramjit Singh, a resident of New Employees Colony, Shahkot.

IO said a case under sections 22/61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.
