Unidentified miscreants booked for duping Shahkot woman of Rs 3 Lakhs

SHAHKOT 2 OCTOBER 

The Cyber Crime Police Station of Jalandhar (rural) police have booked unidentified miscreants on the charge of duping a Shahkot woman of Rs 3 Lakhs.

Manjit Kaur, wife of Balkar Singh, a resident of Bagga village, complained to the police that the accused duped him online of Rs. 3 lakh.

Investigating Officer Gurjant Singh said a case under section 318(4) (cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property) of the BNS has been registered against the unidentified accused after an inquiry.
