Two thieves booked for stealing cash jewellery from house

The Lohian Khas police have booked two thieves on charges of stealing cash and jewellery from a house.

Investigating Officer (IO) Sarabjit Singh said that the accused have been identified as Mohit son of Santokh Singh and Gurwindar Singh son of Gurmej Singh residents of Khosa village.

Nirmal Kaur wife of Amarjit Singh a resident of the same village, complained to the police that the accused barged into her house and stole Rs 20,000 cash and jewellery and fled away.

The investigating officer said a case under sections 331(4) (lurking house trespass) and 305(theft in a dwelling house) of the BNS has been registered against the accused.
