Two booked for murder bid, firing

The Lohian Khas police have booked two miscreants on charges of attempt to murder and firing.

Investigating Officer (IO) Tirath Ram said that the accused has been identified as Gori a resident of Sher Partyba village under Dharam Kot police station in Moga and his unidentified accomplice.

Lovpreet Singh a resident of Punia village, complained to the police that the accused opened fire at him on September 11 evening near Jako Pur Kalan village, which pierced his left thigh.

IO said that a case under section 109(attempt to
murder) 3(5) (committing crime with common intention) of the BNS and sections
25/27 /of the Arms Act has been registered against the accused and his unidentified accomplice.
