Unidentified miscreants booked for firing, criminal intimidation

 The Lohian Khas police have booked unidentified miscreants on charges of firing and criminal intimidation.

Rajwindar Kaur, wife of Surindar Singh a resident of Mahla Chhana village complained to the police that her husband had settled in Spain and was fighting a court case with Simarjit Kaur a resident of Balal Pur village in Karnal district of Haryana, and won the case.

The complainant said the accused Simranjit Kaur hired some criminals who opened fire at his house gate on the night of September 10 with the intention to threaten her.

Investigating Officer Kashmir Singh said that a case under sections 351(3) (criminal intimidation) of the BNS and sections 25/54/59 of the Arms Act has been registered against unidentified accused.
