Woman among four drug peddlers arrested under NDPS Act

NAKODAR/SHAHKOT /NURMAHAL, 12 SEPTEMBER 

The Nakodar Sadar police have arrested a woman drug peddler on the charge of selling intoxicant tablets.

 Investigating officer (IO) Paramjit Singh said that 37 intoxicant tablets (loose) were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Bakhasho wife of Kishan Lal a resident of Bajuha Kalan village.

IO said that cases under sections 22/61/85 of the NDPS Act have been registered against the accused.

The Shahkot police arrested two drug peddlers Shambu son of Mukha of Mohalla Bagh Wala and Karan son of Sukhdev of Malsian village 30 intoxicant tablets said IO Amandeep Singh .

The Bilga police arrested drug peddler Gurdeep alias Kaif son of Gurmail of Shekhu Pur village with 18 intoxicant tablets said IO Govindar Singh.
