Five booked for criminal trespass, intimidation

The Lohian Khas police have booked five miscreants for criminal trespass and intimidation.

Investigating Officer (IO) Balveer Chand said that the accused have been identified as Sarabjit Singh, Gurkirat Singh Harjit Singh residents of Kotha village, Nikku of Mandir Kalan village in Moga, and Nachatar Singh of Janian village.

Nirmahal Singh a resident of Kotha village, complained to the police that the accused did not allow him to use the common motor to irrigate his fields as per his turn and threatened him. On July 18.

IO said a case under section 329 (1)(criminal trespass and house trespass), 351 (2)(criminal intimidation) and 3 (5) (committing crime with common intention) of the BNS has been registered against the accused after an inquiry.
