Three of family booked for outraging woman’s modesty

NAKODAR 31 JULY 

 The Nakodar Sadar police have booked three members of a family on the charge of outraging a woman’s modesty.

Investigating Officer (IO) Paramjit Singh said that the accused have been identified as

Bhupindar Kaur, wife of Pawitar Singh a resident of Chak Muglanni village, her son Kaka, and her daughter Kamaljit Kaur.

Charanjit Kaur, a resident of the same village, complained to the police that the accused assaulted and injured her and defamed her daughter.

IO said that a case under section 74 (criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty), 115(2) (voluntarily causing hurt), and 3(5) (committing crime with common intention) has been registered against the accused. No arrests have been made, and raids are being conducted to nab the absconding accused.
