Two drug peddlers arrested under NDPS Act

 NAKODAR /NURMAHAL 8 JULY   

 The Nakodar Sadar police have arrested a drug peddler on charges of selling intoxicant tablets.

 Investigating Officer (IO) Buta Ram said that 10 intoxicant tablets were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Jugesh Kumar alias Sani son of Pawan Kumar a resident of Kala Sanghian village in Kapurthala

IO said that a case under sections22/61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.

The Nurmahal police arrested drug peddler Akash Deep son of Jagjit Ram of Umre Wal village in Nakodar with 24 intoxicant tablets, said SHO Gurmeet Ram .
