Two miscreants arrested for murder bid, cheating

NURMAHAL 27 FEBRUARY 
The Nurmahal police have arrested two miscreants on the charge of attempt to murder.

Officiating Station House Officer (OSHO Amandeep Singh   said that the accused have been identified as Armann Gill’s son of Sunni Gill a resident of Khusro Pur village under Jalandhar Cantt police station and Samrath son of Tirtha Kumar a resident of Deep Nagar Jalandhar Cantt

Jagtar Singh, a resident of Jandiala village under Sadar Jamsher police station, has complained to the police that the accused came to Bundala petrol pump on Goraya Road on the evening of February 24 and asked to fill the petrol tank of a Swift car (PB-08-AA-009) with Rs 1000 worth of petrol and fled without paying the amount.

The complainant said he, along with another employee, chased the accused and tried to stop him near Kangiwal village on Jalandhar Road. But the accused did not stop and hit their vehicle with his car with the intention to kill and seriously injured both

 

Officiating Station House Officer     said a case under sections109(attempt to murder) 318(4) (cheating and dishonestly delivery of property) ,303(2) (theft) ,324(mischief) and 3(5) (committing crime with common intention) of the BNS was registered against the accused.
