Father-son duo booked for attempt to commit culpable homicide

The Nurmahal police have booked a father-son duo on charges of attempt to commit culpable homicide.

Investigating Officer (IO) Tirath Ram said that the accused has been identified as Gurchetan Singh son of Darshan Singh, a resident of Sidham Mustadi village and his son Jaswindar Singh.

Hardeep Singh, a resident of the same village, complained to the police that he was standing in front of his house on July 10 evening when the accused came there and attacked him with sharp-edged weapons with the intention to kill, and he fell unconscious. His father and mother came to rescue him, and the accused attacked his mother and father and threatened him with dire consequences.

IO said a case under sections 110(attempt to commit culpable homicide),115(2),117(2) (voluntarily causing grievous hurt ), 351(3)(criminal intimidation and 3(5) (committing crime with common intention of the BNS has been registered against the accused.
