Woman booked for cheating, breach of trust

NURMAHAL 26 JUNE 

The Bilga police have booked a woman on the charge of cheating.

Investigating Officer (IO) Charanjit Singh said that the accused has been identified as Neelam Kumari alias Diya Kaur a native of Mani Pur state and wife of Prabhjit Singh a resident of Farid Kot.

Jasbir Kaur wife of  a resident of Partab Pura village complained to the police that that the accused established contact with her elder son  through social media and gained the confidence of her son  and indued her and her son to invest in her business of beauty parlour and they sent Rs 6,40850 online to the accused but did not sent any profit amount to them as promise and cheated them .

IO said a case under sections 316 (2) (criminal breach of trust )and 318(4)( cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property) of the BNS has been registered against the accused after an inquiry
