Villager arrested for selling illicit liquor

SHAHKOT 22 JUNE 

The Shahkot police have arrested a villager on the charge of selling illicit country-made liquor.

The investigating officer (IO) Bagicha Singh said that the accused has been identified as Hardeep Kumar a resident of MehmuWal Yusaf Pur village and recovered 20 of hooch was recovered from his possession.

A case under section 61/1/14 of the excise act have been registered against the accused.
