Three booked for encroaching village pond land

The Lohian Khas police have booked three villagers on the charges of encroaching village pond land.

Investigating officer (IO) Kashmir Singh said that the accused have been identified as Surjit Singh son of Karam Singh Harmesh Singh son of Buta Singh and Charanjit Singh son of Nirmal Singh all residents of Jalal Pur Kalan village.

Block Development and Panchahat Officer (BDPO) Lohian Khas forwarded a complaint from Kamaljit Singh a resident of Jalal Pur Kalan village to the police   who said in his complaint that the accused have encroached Jalal Pur Kalan village panchayat land.

IO said Station House Officer registered a case after special report from BDPO and forwarded further investigation to him and a case under sections 329(4)(criminal trespass) 331(lurking house trespass ) and 3(5)(committing crime with common intention) of the BNS has been registered against the accused .
