Wheat procurement misses target in Lohian Khas 

LOHIAN KHAS 26 APRIL 

 The total purchase of wheat grain by the state government agencies from farmers on Sunday reached 2 lakh 92628 quintals which is less than fixed target of 3lakh 30501 quintals in grain markets under the jurisdiction of Lohian Khas market committee.

Committee secretary Tejinder Kumar said with the poor wheat crop, the government agencies are finding it difficult at purchasing close to 3 lakh quintals as wheat arrival is very low.
