Two drug peddlers arrested under NDPS Act

SHAHKOT 21 FEBRUARY 

The Shahkot police have arrested two drug peddlers on the charge of selling heroin.

Investigating Officer (SHO) Sarwann Singh said that 203 grams of heroin (102+101) were recovered from the possession of the accused, identified as Baljit Singh alias Baljita son of Kulwant Singh a resident of Beetlan village under Mehat Pur police station and Lovpreet Singh alias Samar son of Mukhtiar Singh a resident of Jodha Bhainni village in Jalala Bad district

IO stated that a case under sections 21-B/ 61/ 85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused and impounded their car (PB-33-E-3651) in which they were travelling with the contraband.
