Woman proclaimed offender arrested

The Shahkot police have arrested a woman proclaimed offender (PO) absconding for the last many months
Investigating Officer (IO) Jagtar Singh said that the accused has been identified as Raman Deep Kaur, wife of Veer Pal Singh, a resident of Dabri Colony, Malsian village.
IO said the accused is wanted in cases under 379 (theft), 188 (violating a duly promulgated order by a competent authority), 411 (dishonestly receiving stolen property), and 201 (destroying evidence) of the IPC, in 2020, and was declared a PO in October 2025.
