Couple booked for outraging woman’s modesty

The Nakodar Sadar police have booked a couple on the charges of outraging a woman’s
Investigating officer (IO)Buta Ram said that the accused have been identified as Amarjit Singh son of Malkit Singh a resident of Pandher village and his wife Daljit Kaur.
Sukhwindar Kaur wife of Surindar Singh a resident of the same village complained to the police that the accused assaulted her and tore her cloths and used filthy language against her and her husband on 13 July morning
IO said that a case under sections 74 (criminal force to a woman with intent to outrage her modesty),76(use of criminal force to a woman with intent to disrobe) 115(2) (voluntarily causing hurt) and 351(2) (criminal intimidation) of the BNS has been registered against the accused.
