Scrap dealer arrested for purchasing stolen copper wire

 The Lohian Khas police have arrested a scrap dealer on the charge of purchasing stolen copper wires from farmers’ motors.

 Investigating Officer (IO) Parmindar Singh said that the accused has been identified as Raj Kumar alias Raju son of Tara Chand Singh a resident of Vannjo Ki Basti Makhu Feroze Pur

 IO said Sahib Singh son of Piara Singh a resident of Bharoana village under Kabir Pur police station Kapurthala who was arrested for stealing copper wire told the police he sold it to Raju .

 IO said that stolen copper wire from farmer’s motors was recovered from the accused and arrested in a case under sections 303(2) (theft) and 317(2) (dishonestly receiving stolen property) of the BNS.
