Farmer booked for burning paddy stubble

The Lohian Khas police have   booked a farmer on the charge of burning paddy stubble fields.

 

Investigating Officer (IO) Balveer Chand said that the accused has been identified as Balwindar Singh son of Sardool Singh a resident of Gatta Mundi Kasu Kalan village.

 

IO said sub divisional magistrate (SDM) has ordered to register a case against the accused and nodal 0fficer panchayat secretary and area patwari have sent their reports against the accused who  had set afire his     paddy stubble fields and violated government order in this regard and polluted the atmosphere.

 

IO said a case under section 223(disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant) of the BNS has registered against the accused.
