Nakodar villager arrested for assaulting co-villager

NURMAHAL 12 OCTOBER 

The Nurmahal police have arrested a Nakodar villager on charges of assaulting a co-villager.

Investigating Officer (IO)Subash Chandar said that the accused has been identified as Simranjit Singh, a resident of Tahli village.in Nakodar

Navjot a resident of the same village, complained to the police that the accused and two accomplices waylaid and attacked and injured him on October 6 in the Nurmahal area.

IO said a case under sections 115(2) (voluntarily causing hurt) 126 (2) (wrongful confinement), 351(2)(criminal intimidation), and 3(5)(committing crime with common intention) of the BNS has been registered against the accused, Rohit and Navdeep of Tahli village in Nakodar
