Six unidentified miscreants booked for assaulting shop keeper, stealing cash

The Nurmahal police have booked six unidentified miscreants for assaulting a village shop keeper and stealing cash from his shop.

Darshan Lal a resident of Mitharra village complained to the police that six motorcycles borne accused came on September 13 evening and four of them barged into his shop ,assaulted him and ransacked shop and stole Rs 4000 from coin box and fled away.

Investigating Officer Rajindar Pal Singh said that a case under sections 3329(c) (house trespass in order to commit offence punishable with imprisonment) 305(theft in dwelling house )115(2) (voluntarily causing hurt) 324(mischief) 191(3) ,190 (rioting and unlawful assembly) of the BNS has been registered against unidentified accused and further investigations are on.
