Truck driver booked for causing death by negligence.

The Shahkot police have booked a truck driver for causing death by negligence.

Investigating Officer (IO) Bagicha Singh said that the accused has been identified as Harjit Singh, son of Jaswindar Singh a resident of Kahma village under Banga police station in SBS Nagar,

Rajesh Kumar a resident of Bhoe Pur village, complained to the police that Sandeep Kaur, wife of Happy, and her mother-in-law and daughter were returning home from Nakodar in a three-wheeler on August 10 when their three-wheeler collided with a wrongly parked truck near Billi Chaharmi village on the National Highway and were injured seriously and Sandeep succumbed to injuries in a Jalandhar hospital on September 3.

 IO said a case under sections 106(causing death by negligence )281(rash driving) 125A-125B(causing grievous hurt) of the BNS has been registered against the truck driver.
