Villager booked for encroaching panchayat land

NURMAHAL 31 AUGUST 

The Nurmahal police have booked a villager on the charges of encroaching panchayat land.

Investigating officer (IO)Subash Chandar   said that the accused has been identified as Sukhdev Singh, son of Jogindar Singh a resident of Bhardwajian village.

Nurmahal Block Development and Panchayat Officer Ashok Kumar complained to the police that the accused encroached on a piece of panchayat land by laying a pipeline.

IO said a case under sections 329(3) (criminal trespass) and324(4) (mischief) of the BNS has been registered against the accused.
