Chandigarh man booked for murdering wife

NAKODAR 29 AUGUST 

The Mehat Pur police have booked a Chandigarh man on charges of murdering his wife.

Station House Officer (SHO) Baljindar Singh said that the accused has been identified as Shiri Muni alias Shiri Lala son of Gurchu a resident of Chandigarh.

Kiran Devi wife of Murari Lal a resident of Sango Wal Tibba village complained to police that her niece Soni Devi was married to the accused Shiri Munni who murdered her niece and buried her body in a paddy field in Sango Wal Tibba village which was found in shape of skeleton.

SHO said a case under sections 103 (murder) of the BNS has been registered against the accused.
