Nine miscreants booked for outraging woman’s modesty

 The Mehat Pur police have booked nine miscreants on charges of outraging a woman’s modesty

Investigating officer (IO) Janak Raj said that the accused have been identified as Kesha ,Gera residents of Singh Pur village, Lalla and Pawan of Shahpur village; Billo Badshah of Mohalla Shah Salem Pur Mehat Pur, Rahul of Mohalla Talab pura Mehat Pur Deepu of Mohalla Dhangara Mehat Pur Gullu a resident of Malsian village under Shahkot police station and Mani Lambarr of Nur Pur Chatha village under Nakodar Sadar police station.

The victim complained to the police that the accused s barged into her house and assaulted torn her clothes, ransacked her house and threatened her

IO said that a case under sections 74 (criminal force to a woman with intent to outrage her modesty), 333(house trespass after preparation for hurt and assault) 351(2)(criminal intimidation) 324 (4) (mischief) 191 (3) and 190(rioting and unlawful assembly) of the BNS has been registered against the accused.
