Villager arrested for assaulting co-villager, snatching tractor

The Bilga police have arrested a villager on the charges of assaulting a co-villager and snatching his tractor.

Investigating Officer (IO) Amanpreet Singh Kumar said that the accused have been identified Dilpreet Singh alias Dallu son of Gurdeep Singh a resident of Mowai village.

Ajmer Singh a resident of the same village had complained to the police that he was working in his fields in Bilga village on October 25 when the accused waylaid and attacked, injured him and snatched his tractor.

IO said a case under sections 304 (snatching )115(voluntarily causing hurt) 126(2) (wrong full restrain t )351(2,3)(criminal intimidation )191(3) (rioting-being armed with deadly weapons) and 190(unlawful assembly) of the BNS and sections 25/27/54/59 of the Arms Act was against the accused and others
