Two miscreants booked for snatching motorcycle, phone

The Nakodar City police have booked two miscreants on charges of snatching a motorcycle and a phone from a resident.

Investigating Officer (IO) Sukhwindar Singh said that the accused have been identified as Shamir son of Rakesh Kumar a resident of Mudh village and Jashan son of Rachhpal a resident of ward no9 Bhulath in Kapurthala.

Vikas, a resident of Government High School Pati Takhar, Shankar village, complained to the police that the accused snatched his motorcycle (PB—08-FR-4699) and a smartphone at the point of sharp-edged weapons on July 26.

IO said that a case under sections 309(4) (robbery) and 3(5) (committing a crime with common intention) of the BNS has been registered against the accused.
