Villager arrested for culpable homicide

NURMAHAL 4 AUGUST 

The Bilga police have arrested a villager on charges of culpable homicide not amounting to murder.

 

Investigating Officer (IO) Govindar Singh said that the accused has been identified as Manidar Sahota alias Mohindar Singh alias Mindari son of Vijay Kumar, a resident of Meon Wal village.

 

Surindar Kaur, wife of the deceased Hussan Lal, a resident of Mao Sahib village, had complained to the police that the accused and his accomplices had taken her husband from the house on July 18 and

 

administered some intoxicant drug or poisonous substance to her husband, which caused his death

 

IO said a case under section 105 (culpable homicide not amounting to murder) and 3(5) (committing crime with common intention) of the BNS was registered against the accused.
