Villager dies after taking expired medicine, case registered

NURMAHAL 2 JULY 

A villager died after taking expired medicine.

Officiating Station House officer Subash Chandar said that the deceased has been identified as Sukhman Preet Singh son of Rannjit Singh a resident of Gorsian Peeran village

Tara Wati mother of the deceased informed the police that her son fell ill accidently and consumed an expired medicine and died.

Subash Chandar said that the police acting under section 194 of the BNNS handed over the body to the family after post-mortem.
