Villager booked for selling illicit liquor
LOHIAN KHAS 24 JUNE
The Lohian Khas police have arrested a villager on the charge of selling illicit country-made liquor.
The investigating officer (IO) Sarabjit Singh said that the accused has been identified as Jaspreet Singh a resident of Nihalu Wal village and 4 bottles of hooch were recovered from his possession.
A case under section 61/1/14 of the Excise Act has been registered against the accused.
