Two drug peddlers arrested under NDPS Act

The Nakodar Sadar police have arrested a drug peddler on the charge of selling intoxicant tablets.

Investigating Officer (IO) Paramjit Singh said that 34 intoxicant tablets were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Sumindar Pal alias Shinda son of Darshan Ram a resident of Bajuha Kalan village.

IO said a case under sections 22/61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.

The Bilga police arrested drug peddler Nanak Singh son of Prem Singh of Sango Wal village with 34 intoxicant tablets said IO Charanjit Singh.
