Six villagers booked for criminal trespass, assault

The Lohian Khas police have booked six villagers on charges of criminal trespass and assault.

Investigating officer (IO)Balveer Chand said that the accused have been identified as Chanann Singh ,his son Rannjit Singh, Sarabjit Singh, Lovpreet Singh, Babbu and Gurmukh all resident of Ismail Pur village.

Jaswindar Singh a resident of the same village, complained to the police that the accused were   forcibly ploughing his 11 kanals land on June 11 and when they stopped them the accused attacked and seriously injured him.

IO said that a case under sections 329(3) (criminal trespass)115(2) 118(2) (voluntarily causing grievous hurt) 191(2) 190(rioting and unlaw assembly )  of the BNS has been registered against the accused.
