Three villagers    booked for assaulting co-villager

NAKODAR 15 JUNE

 The Nakodar Sadar police have booked three villagers on the charge of assaulting co-villager.

Investigating officer (IO) Paramjit Singh said that the accused have been identified as Kala a resident of Tahli village and his two unidentified accomplices.

Gurvinder Singh a resident of the same village complained to the police that the accused waylaid him on April 30 attacked him with weapons and injured him.

IO said that a case under sections 115 (2) (voluntarily causing hurt) 126(2)( wrongful restraint ) and 3(5)(committing crime with common intention) of the BNS   has been registered against the accused.
