Woman among two arrested for murder bid, firing

The Lohian Khas have arrested two villagers including a woman on the charge of attempt to murder and firing

Investigating Officer (IO) Harwindar Singh said that the accused have been identified as Kulwant Kaur wife of Gurdeep Singh and Sukhwindar Singh alias Baggi son of Lala residents of Chak Bandala village.

Paramjit Kaur wife of Mukhtiar  Singh a resident of the same vvillage firedmplained to the police that the accused and twelve accomplices including four women  barged into her house on April 11evening  and assaulted  her and her family members and one accused Anmol Singh a resident of Tibbi Ranga village  fired  targeting them with intention to kill and the accused  ransacked her house,  grocery shop and smashed   cameras and fled away .

Investigating Officer said a case under sections109(attempt to murder)333(house trespass) 324(4) (mischief )191(3) (rioting armed with deadly weapons) 190(unlawful assembly) of the BNS and 25/27/54/59 of the Arms Act was registered against the accused and others.
