Shahkot villager arrested for outraging woman’s modesty

The Shahkot police have arrested a villager on the charges of outraging a woman’s
Investigating officer (IO) Tirath Ram said that the accused has been identified as Sahib Jot Singh alias Timmu son of Nirmal Singh a resident of Mannak Pur village.
The victim had complained to the police that the accused compelled her to have friendly relations with him and threatened at the point of pistol to kill her
IO said that a case under sections 74 (criminal force to a woman with intent to outrage her modesty),126(2) (wrongful restraint), 351(2) (criminal conspiracy) 3of the BNS and sections 25-1(B)27,54,59 of the Arms Act was registered against the accused.
