Four drug peddlers arrested under NDPS Act

The Bilga police have arrested two drug peddlers on the charge of selling intoxicant tablets.

Investigating officer (IO)Charanjit Singh said that 120intoxicant tablets (loose) were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Harpreet Singh alias Happy son of Paramjit Singh a resident of Burj Hassan village and Kamalpreet Singh son of Makhann Singh a resident of Mao Sahib village.

IO said that a case under sections 22/61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.

The Nurmahal police arrested drug peddler Gurpreet son of Harbans Lal of Sangat Pur village under Bigla police station with 41 intoxicant tablets said IO Amandeep Singh

The Shahkot   police arrested drug peddler Punit Gupta alias Popal son of Rakesh Gupta a resident of Pati Khuram Pur Malsian village with 60 intoxicant tablets said IO Major Singh.
