Villager booked for brewing/ selling illicit liquor.

NAKODAR  31 MAY   

 The Mehat Pur police booked a villager on the charge of brewing and selling illicit liquor.

Investigating Officer IO) Amrik Lal said 20 bottles of hooch and 25 kilograms of Lahann (raw liquor) were seized from the possession of the accused, identified as Jagdev Singh a resident of Khehra Mushtarka village who manged to flee from the spot

  IO said a case under sections 61/1/14 of the Punjab Excise Act has been registered against the accused.
