Two miscreants arrested for snatching cash

NURMAHAL 17 MAY 

The Nurmahal police have arrested two miscreants on the charge of snatching cash.

Investigating Officer (IO) Charanjit Singh said the accused have been identified as Gurwindar Singh alias Jita son of Satnam Singh a resident of Sangat Pur village and Sukhvindar alias Sukha son of Resham a resident of Kot Badal Khan village under Nurmahal police station.

Lakhveer Singh a resident of Rame Wal village complained to the police that the accused waylaid him and his wife on May 15 evening attacked him with sharp wedged weapons   and snatched Rs 3500 and threatened him with dire consequences

IO said a case under sections 309(4) (robbery),115 (2) (voluntarily causing hurt) 345(3) (using a false property mark) and 111(organise crime) of the BNS has been registered against the accused. And their accomplice Amandeep Singh Amna of Shamsha Bad village under Nurmahal police station who is absconding.
