Five villagers booked for assaulting a man

NAKODAR 17 MAY

 The Nakodar Sadar   police have booked five villagers on the charge of assaulting a man.

Investigating officer (IO) and Uggi police post in-charge Buta Ram  said that the accused have been identified as Vishal, Suraj ,Nandu ,and Ghuda all resident of Talwandi Bharo village and Viki a resident of Saham village.

Tirath Kumar  a resident of Bau Pur Dona village complained to the police that the accused attacked him with sharp weapons and seriously injured him on May 5 and other threatened l him.

IO said that a case under sections 115(2) .118(1) (voluntarily causing grievous hurt) 190 and 191 (rioting and unlawful assembly) of the BNS has been registered against the accused and three unidentified accomplices.
